Business Context

Turning an idea into an ecommerce business

KRM NXT Mod did not have an existing store or ecommerce operation. While Phillip was studying computer science, the owner came to him with the idea and asked for help building the business online.

KRM NXT Mod became the first commercial project Phillip took on after previously building only personal software projects. He took responsibility for the digital foundation, launched the store in January 2025, and has continued supporting it as the business has grown.

The Challenge

Building the foundation while the business took shape

There was no existing store, catalog structure, product-content system, or ecommerce workflow to inherit. The digital operation had to be created from zero around a growing range of golf cart parts and accessories.

Building KRM meant learning the Shopify ecosystem while simultaneously creating the store, catalog structure, and digital operations the new business needed.

What Green Digital Solutions Built

A complete digital operation, not just a storefront

Green Digital Solutions handled the ecommerce setup and the ongoing work required to keep the store useful as the catalog and business expanded.

  • Site structure, theme customization, and custom code
  • Product creation, organization, collections, and categories
  • Original product photography and maintained product descriptions
  • Product data sourcing and catalog population
  • Shipping setup and later shipping changes
  • Email and SMS marketing
  • Ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and catalog expansion

Catalog Growth

A catalog designed to grow with the business

The store launched with approximately 15–20 products. It now contains well over 100, added through original photography, manual entry, maintained product content, and careful product data sourcing.

As the catalog expanded, browsing had to remain practical. The storefront now gives customers several useful ways to narrow the inventory instead of forcing them through one oversized product list.

  • Browse by golf cart and model
  • Narrow by category
  • Compare focused product types
